The Denton County Democratic Party hired me as their paid staffer. I’m not sure what my title is, but I’m pretty sure it’ll end up as “Party Administrator” or something along those lines. I am thick with volunteer coordination and office management.
Its terribly exciting – I’m getting paid to work in politics. While it is true that Denton County is an uphill battle for Democrats, we have a lot of good things happening. The people are great and enthusiasm is high.
So that’s where I’ve been. Out of class and to the office until 7:00 or 8:00 at night. Some people asked me if I was going to quit blogging now that I’m all official and what not, but I don’t think its a conflict of interest. I write about national issues and foreign policy, and occasionlly I mention Texas issues. I’ll just have to make sure the office stays off the page.
The Deep Throat thing is disappointing. My favorite theory is that it was Nixon. Also, I’m not surprised about France and the EU Constitution and even less so about the following Dutch defeat.
I will totally give you more love this weekend, my readers. My statistics final is tomorrow, and then its on to German.
