Home from the TDP convention. Very tired. I ran in my first race as a candidate (for Texas State Democratic Executive Committee) and lost, but we ran a good race and had girls in campaign t-shirts. The other guy, Hal Ray, had some good ideas and was totally pleasant. I’m sure he will serve ably.
Re-elected Boyd Richie as state party chair. Made some new pals. And most likely gained some new detractors. As per usual.
