The work that I’ve done for you is evident. I meant to write a big post to celebrate my new delicious server, design, but instead I updated my iPod.
So, sorry. Here’s a short list of things you can expect in the next week, so that you know I’m still working for you:

We’ve really done something here.

So I’ve figured out what’s wrong with my MT install – my server, which I have long lauded as the poor man’s gold mine, has been surpassed by the new Movable Type’s ability to thresh information. It times out, its DBI isn’t new enough, and so on. I have devised methods for getting around the problem, but they are unsatisfactory for the long term. We’ll see what happens next.
Regardless, the kid can write again, so rejoice.

So I bought a license for Movable Type so I could get them to help me fix my install. Thi was several days ago. They still haven’t really helped.
They told me that I needed to do , y, and z, and all of those things were done. Then they blamed it on my server. I asked if mt had changed significantly enough for 3.2 to not run on the same server (after, of course, the ‘easiest upgrade ever’) and she said no, its way better and faster!
If anyone wants to offer help in fixing this shit, let me know. I’m also trying out a few other blog sets, but we don’t have a winner just yet.

I managed to break my MT install. Believe you me, I have been wanting to write about quite a few things recently, not the least of which is America’s exposure as a nation on minimum wage in the Katrina aftermath and Rehnquist going to that big courtroom in the sky. I don’t even know if this will update, but experts and professionals are addressing the problem. I will be back with you shortly.
Perhaps.
